Gauge: 3″ across 10 dc sts.
Finished Size: Fits a standard coffee cup in large and medium sizes.

Abbreviations:

Ch/Chs = Chain/Chains
Dc = Double Crochet
FO = Fasten Off
Hdc = Half Double Crochet
Lp/Lps = Loop/Loops
Rep = Repeat
Sc = Single Crochet
Sk = Skip
Sl St = Slip Stitch
Sp/Sps = Space/Spaces
St/Sts = Stitch/Stitches

Pattern Instructions

Ch 26; join with sl st to first ch being careful not to twist chs.

Rnd 1: Ch 2 (does not count as st), working into back bumps, dc in first ch and into each ch around; join with sl st to first dc. (26 sts)

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in first st, *ch 3, sk next st, sc in next st; rep from * around to last st; ch 1, sk last st; hdc in first sc st to join. (13 lps)

Rnds 3-5: Ch 1, sc into lp, *ch 3, sc in next lp; rep from * around to last lp; ch 1, hdc in first sc st to join. (13 lps)

Rnd 6: Ch 1, sc in lp, ch 1, *sc in next lp, ch 1; rep from * around; join with sl st to first sc. (13 ch-1 sps)

Rnd 7: Ch 2 (does not count as st), dc in first st and in each st and ch-1 sp around; join with sl st to first dc. (26 sts) FO.
