If you’ve been crocheting for a while, then you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about here: You go through your yarn stash by crocheting a bunch of stashbusting patterns only to find that you got pretty much the same amount of yarn balls left as you started out with; except now they are smaller… so small that you can’t really do much with the yarn anymore. You don’t have the heart to throw them out, but you don’t know what to make with it either. Well… your problem is now solved, because this adorable mini afghan square is the perfect size for eliminating your yarn stash. ALL of it!

Once your stash is gone, you can join the squares into just about anything from blankets to scarves, bags, and so much more.

The Yarn

I used up most of my worsted weight yarn scraps including Red Heart Super Saver, Red Heart Comfort and Loops and Threads Impeccable. Any worsted weight yarn will work, just remember to stick with the same yarn when you piece them together into a project.
