Crochet Head Scarf Pattern – Dayana

Make this head scarf crochet pattern to match your favorite summer outfits. You only need a small amount of yarn, making it a great project to make with leftover yarn from other summer projects.

It ties at the back of the head for a comfortable fit every time, making it great for children and adults. For a different look, you can also try tying the crochet head scarf at the top or at the side with a pretty bow. Depending on how you like your bow, you may need to adjust the length of the head scarf.

Regardless of what you choose, this crochet head scarf pattern is perfect for holding back long hair or for taming frizzy and curly hair.

Crochet Head Scarf Pattern Information

Skill Level: Easy

The stitch pattern is easy for those familiar with crochet cross-stitch. This crochet headband pattern features one row of cross-stitches along with two rows of open stitches, giving you a simple, lacy look with a bit of texture.

The headband pattern is worked along the long rows, but for a different look, you can also work this along the short rows. To do so, start with 11, 13, or 15 chains, and follow the pattern until you reach the desired length.

If you love this type of head scarf to crochet, then you might also enjoy this Open Stitch Headband, or this Easy Crochet Headband, which is crocheted with the extended single crochet stitch.
