Any Size Fingerless Crochet Gloves
These any-size fingerless crochet gloves are a match for my any-size hat and scrap cowl, set. The gloves crochet up quickly and easily and can be crocheted up for adults, teens, and even young children. You basically start off with any multiple of two in order to get the correct circumference. Then, for the thumb, it naturally creates a large thumb opening, which you can somewhat adjust in size by the number of stitches that you crochet along that edge.
My favorite thing about these gloves is the texture of the fabric. Instead of a ribbed edge over the wrist I added a beaded row in a different color. I made mine short, but you could easily increase them to cover the arm as well.

Any Size Fingerless Gloves Crochet Pattern
Skill Level: Easy
Crochet these gloves to any size you need in the stitch multiple provided.
These gloves start at the wrist and are worked towards the fingers. The first two rounds are with single crochets, followed by a bead stitch round, and another two rounds of single crochets.
For the main part of the gloves, the half double cross stitch is used to give them a nice texture. I’ve added an opening for the thumb, followed by another few rounds to bring the length up to the knuckles.
A few other patterns to try include the Pretty Simple Fingerless Gloves, the Blossom Fingerless Gloves Crochet Pattern, and the Easy Crochet Fingerless Gloves.
Materials
- Yarn: Caron Simply Soft (Worsted Weight, #4; 100% acrylic; 6 oz/170.1g; 315yds/288m) 1 ball of each color.
- Crochet Hook:Â I/9-5.50mm or any hook suitable for yarn.
- Other:Â Measuring Tape, Scissors, Yarn Needle.
I used Caron Simply Soft. It’s a medium-weight acrylic yarn. The yarn does not offer much stretch, but you can always substitute it with something more comfortable, like Vanna’s Choice. Just note that if you choose a different yarn and hook size, the finished size will also be a different size.
Measurements
- Gauge:Â Measures 4″ over 14 hdc sts and 10 rounds.
- Finished Size:Â When laying flat they measure just under 4″ wide and 5.5″ high.
The Size is given for one size, to fit a small adult. If you need a larger or smaller size, you can do so by adjusting your starting chains in any multiple of 2.
