Most of these free crochet patterns are worked in Bernat Baby Sport. It is one of the best yarns that I’ve come across for making baby items. It is not only soft and easy to work with, but it washes well and is economical.
For a little girl, choose a pink, white, or a neutral color tone. For a boy, try blue or yellow as the main color.
